Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Security Operations Manager opening to join our Global Information Services Information Security organization.

Day to Day 

Today, you might be establishing Standard Operating Procedures for your L1 and L2 Global SOCs. Tomorrow, you'll be working with the Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CIRT) to analyze and defend against a cyber attack that is trying to exploit our environment. And, you might be managing cybersecurity projects that create our global cybersecurity infrastructure while at the same time be working across global groups to remediate security issues and concerns. You may also work closely with a diverse global population of business leaders, including Corporate Security, to investigate a cyber incident.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the Whirlpool ISOC infrastructure
  • Manage Cybersecurity Investigations
  • Lead cybersecurity projects from Design to full implementation
  • Be an integral part (co-incident commander) of the Whirlpool Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT)
  • Assist in Cyber Incidents and Investigations as needed
  • Be a part of a high performing and very dynamic and energetic team of professionals

 

Qualifications

  • Must have a 4 year college degree and 3-4 years of experience working in cybersecurity
  • CISSP, CISM, GIAC or related Certificate required
