Commercial Cooling Solutions Sales Engineer, Embraco Household Sales organization.

 

Job Responsibilities: 

 

 

  • Field Sales Responsibilities include:

 

    • Travel to assigned accounts / sales territory to develop and/or maintain commercial OEMs
    • Work with specifying engineers, buyers, executives, etc. to acquire compressor
    • Generate interest in our products, quote, sample, and close on new business
    • Properly size and specify appropriate products for each type of application
    • Solicit forecasts and develop business plans for major accounts
    • Learn competitor’s strengths and weaknesses
    • Conduct failure analysis at end-user or customer locations
    • Support other sales engineers as needed
    • Handle special assignments
  • Office Responsibilities include:
  • Focus on follow-up resulting from field sales activities
  • Respond to technical inquiries
  • Deep interface with Customer Service and Technical Support
  • Interface with product engineers in Slovakia, Italy and Brazil
  • Qualify / Follow-up on sales leads / Pipeline of opportunities
  • Provide monthly market reports and call reports
  • Insure that customer invoices are paid within negotiated terms
Miscellaneous Responsibilities include:
    • Sales analysis; utilize CRM/ICS and other company related software programs
    • Travel to Embraco plants (Brazil / Slovakia) as needed
    • Write articles for trade magazines
    • Minimize expenses wherever possible

Minimum Requirements

  • ·         Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electronic), MBA a plus
  • ·         Business Degree with industry experience also considered
  • ·         Minimum five years of commercial sales (B2B), HVAC, refrigeration, or service industry
  • ·         Experience selling compressor refrigeration solutions to OEM
  • ·         Thorough understanding of refrigeration
  • ·         Ownership Mindset/Business Driven
  • ·         Customer centric personality
  • ·         Well organized / Effective time management skills
  • ·         Creative problem solver /Successful negotiator
  • ·         Effective communicator / Outgoing personality
  • ·         Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • ·         Strong technical writing ability
  • ·         Conscientious, reliable, accurate, high integrity and maturity
  • ·         Able to work independently and as a Team
  • ·         Travel up to 50% of time
