HR Analyst - Time and Attendance

Summary

The HR Shared Services Analyst (Time and Attendance) is responsible for supporting the Americas region.  The Analyst will provide support internally to the Team Members, Supervisors/Managers and local HR Business Partners within the US, Canada and Latin America.  This includes the coordination of system programming changes; drive for policy and procedural improvement and standardization; as well as compliance and issue resolution.  The HR Shared Services Analyst will be accountable for delivering these services within set service level agreements (SLAs) and should have a strong customer focused approach. This individual should have a focus on continuous improvement and should always be looking for ways to improve our processes based on insights from data analytics, experience and industry trends. Bachelor’s degree preferred and 2 - 4 years relevant experience in related field required.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Ensure the data integrity for all demographic and time details within the ADP eTime system
  • Submit time interface per pay period as well as audit time records for payroll accuracy and Sox compliance
  • Coordinate the Change Request process for new system programming and/or rule changes to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations as well as internal standardization efforts
  • Undertake testing of changes (e.g., acceptance testing, etc.) if required; develop, complete, and validate testing scenarios when upgrades are applied
  • Maintain training documentation and library for Team Members; Supervisors/Managers and Human Resources
  • Provide 2nd tier client support to assigned HR Shared Services Center cases.  May support Shared Service SLAs by taking overflow calls periodically
  • Identify and resolve escalations or complex issues with a strong emphasis on associated patterns, trends, and root cause analysis
  • Point of contact for providing time related ad-hoc reports to internal and external customers
  • Develop/enhance Standard Work Instructions for internal processes
  • Administer standard Attendance, PTO, Time Clock and Compensation procedures and guidelines
  • Reporting and data collection/maintenance of time activity to produce regular scorecards for Manager
  • Assist with payroll/HRIS projects as needed and perform other duties as assigned
  • Maintaining files and all related materials in accordance with file retention policies

 

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a highly dynamic environment
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • PHR certification a plus
  • Experience with ADP eTime or Kronos preferred
  • Experience with ADP Globalview preferred
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working with virtual teams
