Our client, a Global Chemical company, has a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Professional to join our team as the Head of Customer Marketing. The role reports to the Managing Director and will be leading a team of 40 marketing professionals. Working closely with the Head of Sales to develop a holistic Marketing strategy for Germany and the Country Leadership Team.

Accountabilities:

We are looking for an individual who will bring a wealth of experience in the agri-business sector preferably in Marketing and/or Sales and/or Strategy to define our customer marketing strategy. Using your market knowledge and market research you will translate our global product strategy into country and customer strategies.
You will lead the Customer Marketing team to prioritize campaigns and resource allocation in line with the country strategy. As an Expert of your discipline you will define the marketing communications strategy (e.g. media mix, budget allocation across services, etc.) and provide constructive challenge to marketing plans.

You will ensure delivery of grower and channel value proposition incl. incentives (KPI's) in line with channel roles, needs & capabilities. Your goal will be to drive interaction with the global marketing team in means of delivering an effective and efficient marketing organization.

Qualifications:

  • Master degree in business management / economics or a marketing related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering multi-platform marketing strategies in agri-business and agronomy
  • Longtime experience in leading diverse teams, team and project management
  • Proven experience incountry product/crop management and/or CRM management
  • Experience in campaign development and management is a must
  • Ability to develop and deliver innovative, customer-driven offers
  • Ability to combine contrary interests within different parties to deliver distinctive value proposition to the customer
  • Ability to develop and implement value pricing based on customer perceived value
  • Ability to think strategically, balancing the needs of the business against the external market factors to develop the most effective strategy in line with budgets and to yield success
  • Be fully experienced in all marketing techniques especially digital marketing and CRM tools, using this knowledge to design and implement an effective approach for our current and future business
  • Language skills, fluent in German and English both written and spoken
  • Ability to anticipate changes in the market and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Good communication and presentation skills as well as strategic thinking and financial acumen
