Legal Consultant – Contract role
The incumbent is responsible for assisting in drafting, reviewing, vetting of customer contracts and other corporate agreements within our Pakistan entity.
Follow up with the Advocates regarding status of cases.
Maintains a database summarizing key terms of contracts and other documents
Prepares, organizes, and maintains board minutes, resolutions.
Prepares legal documents, which include, contracts, appeals, closings, etc.
Prepares annual or quarterly reports.
Appearances in the court trials with the lawyer.
Handling of criminal litigation.
Follow – up with the law firms regarding Trade Mark search, filing of applications if any.
Co-ordinate with verticals within the office regarding Labor License and Contract Labor license renewals.
Ensure all the agreements are updated and are in safe custody.
Should be able to handle secretarial functions which will include holding the board meetings, preparation of the agenda and subsequently board minutes, compliance under Companies Ordinance of Pakistan.
Essential Knowledge & Experience
5-7 years of experience of working in a manufacturing organization, preferably in an MNC environment
Must have degree in law from reputed institution, the accreditation of Company Secretary status will be an added advantage.
Thorough understanding of the country’s laws and regulation.
Experience of handling criminal litigations.
Strong communication skills
Full time role – Consultant (Contract)
Should be able to travel within Pakistan
