This role will be within our Airwave Test Services Team based in Rugby, UK.
You will be responsible for managing the Airwave TETRA Reference System and all Airwave test activities.

As our successful Engineering Test Services Scheduler, you will support in the preparation and planning of test activities as well as supporting the validation and verification activities in the Reference System and on the live network.
You will generate and maintain work plans/schedules for resource areas within the test team and will co-ordinate and manage third party booking requests and maintain a forward-looking schedule/calendar of bookings to ensure test resources are efficiently utilised, particularly during times of high profile projects. This will include raising orders after a completed booking to ensure invoices are sent out to suppliers in a timely manner.
You will support the test team with business processes to ensure compliance and adherence to standards and policies. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for monitoring and analysing the teams adherence with test governance processes and polices to ensure compliance to KPIs.
You will act as the initial liaison between the test team members, internal and external customers to plan test resources, personnel, equipment, configuration and schedules. You will determine the adequacy and completeness of booking requests and will ensure appropriate timing of activity and resource allocation is assigned.
You will manage third party booking requests for use of the Reference System to ensure efficient application of all resources and must negotiate on booking slots based on priority and efficient resource deployment.
You will be responsible for ensure the test governance is being applied to projects undergoing test through regular analysis monitoring and tracking.
As our Engineering Test Services Scheduler, you will provide support to the Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Engineering Test Managers (ETM) with lab based and field testing to attain customer acceptance, including conducting tests where appropriate.
You will support the ETMs during test event preparation, planning and customer witness testing, included liaison and hosting customers where appropriate. Interfacing with 3rd party suppliers and partners with regards test request scheduling, alignment of test management, documentation and quality control.
You will manage our Test resource scheduling on a weekly basis, and will communicate and identify conflicts for resolution. Additionally, you will support configuration management and audit activities in the Reference System. Co-managing the test team’s document management area to ensure compliance with audit and standards policies.
