Currently for our site in East Hanover, NJ/ Summit, NJ we are looking for a:

Sr. Global Brand Manager, Fluad

Job Purpose:
 
The Senior Global Brand Manager, FLUAD will be involved in the global management of FLUAD  brand strategy  in Seqirus Commercial Development and Policy organization. The primary responsibilities include the development of the global brand positioning and execution of the global brand plan with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful achievement of the P&L. The Sr Global Brand Manager will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistency in brand messaging, assist with go-to market strategies, prioritization of markets and life cycle planning.  In addition, the Sr. Brand Manager will also provide support to develop and execute strategic and brand planning activities for global markets, market research, sales analytics, forecast and budget tracking.   The Senior Global Brand Manager will partner with regional commercial operations to support their marketing needs, ensure consistency in brand messaging, compliance in promotional activities and gather insights to improve or create new marketing programs.


 
Major Accountabilities:


1. Contribute to developing FLUAD  marketing plan and to ensuring  successful execution in priority markets.

  • Build brand plan and articulate strategic imperatives to deliver brand, including key brand messages and communications strategy for major stakeholders (healthcare providers, patients, payers, KOLs)

  • Develop/validate a differentiated and market research-based brand positioning that supports strategy and priority segments

  • Develop and optimize marketing mix, communication delivery vehicles for key stakeholders given brand objectives

  • Develop compelling and innovative branded/non-branded physician/patient programs to build compliance and persistency

  • With Policy and with Medical Affairs, develop KOLs and/or national/regional advocates for the brand and coordinate participation in advisory boards and speaker development programs, as needed

  • Develop and execute against key promotional/marketing materials and obtain approval through appropriate copy-clearance committees; ensure full compliance as outlined by the Seqirus SOP on promotional materials

  • Lead tactical interactions with the advertising agency of record and multiple other vendors, provide feedback on copy and creatives consistent with the brand promise and strategy

  • Collaborate with Global Commercial Development on critical brand issues and align as appropriate to the global brand strategy

  • Monitor short and long-term market trends that impact brand and continuously identify opportunities and gaps to feed into the strategic and tactical brand plans

  • Drive appropriate market research or advisory boards to close knowledge gaps, inform strategic direction, anticipate customer needs and take action to meet them in advance

  • Develop KPIs and measure impact of programs on revenue (ROI) and other objectives

  • Act as the expert on market dynamics, disease area and competitor activities for the assigned brand Leads each product brand development activities in collaboration with the regions


 
2. Partner with the Regional Commercial  TeamA to optimize sales tools and programs and ensure their alignment with business objectives

  • Strong accountability for developing relationships with key internal functions, including Regional Operational Marketing, R&D, Legal, Finance, Regulatory and Business Development.

  • Provide input into global forecasting activities in alignment with overall business objectives

  • Responsible for a global marketing budget – Works within the developed and agreed budget.

  • Implements strategic direction by providing marketing support for Rapivab through generation of core materials/activities, such as product monographs, publication plans and symposia.

  • Perform ad hoc analysis of market data (IMS and other secondary data), as required, and effectively communicate these analyses and recommendations to key internal stakeholders

  • Interacts with key internal stakeholders to ensure global strategies and tactics are linked to achievement of critical business objectives.

  • In collaboration with Medical Affairs, provide input into global congress execution, partnering with the local team around booth development and logistics, key customer events, symposium, product presentations, etc.


3. Support other commercial development activities in the portfolio

  • Contribute in the development and execution of portfolio-based programs

  • Identify new growth opportunities and programs, propose “big ideas” to be discussed with the broader team

  • Deliver oral and written communications, develop and make presentations to commercial management, the sales force, and other internal groups, as requested

  • Support all aspects of budget management for assigned brand

  • Partner with Finance to ensure timely and accurate spend updates and accruals

  • Ensure compliance to Procurement policies of external agencies, including Master Services Agreements

  • Participate in financial and brand planning activities for team

  • Builds an accurate sales forecast, good understanding of risk sensitivity evaluations


 
Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Life Sciences or Business/Marketing. MBA preferred.

  • At least 7 years working experience in Commercial in the pharmaceutical industry

  • At least 5 years working on a Brand Team or Global Marketing

  • Vaccines marketing, sales, sales training, sales operations experience preferred

  • Marketing/sales operations experience a plus
