The Organisation:

CREFM is Syngenta's Corporate Real Estate and Facilities Management organisation; we are looking for a Centre of Excellence (CoE) Programme Manager to join the team, this is an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to manage CREFM transformation projects coordinating Syngenta stakeholders and functions along with facility management Supply Chain Partners.


Role purpose:

  • Act as the Centre of Excellence PMO (Project Management Office) for all innovation and transformation projects within the CREFM function globally.

  • Responsible for development of project charters, briefs and assisting in the creation of relevant project teams.

  • Project manage a number of projects with responsibility for working with the CREFM teams, supply  chain partners, Subject Matter Experts and other Business Partners & functions.

  • Support and manage Energy, Environmental projects across all regions.

  • To act as an ambassador for Syngenta and SBS through strong networking, internally with R&D, Engineering and Science Business Partners, CREFM supplier and other functional leadership and staff.

  • Work with CREFM suppliers in a business partner relationship to continuously identify improvements to the service provided and areas where further operational efficiencies and improvements can be achieved.

  • Operational transition and transformation support of new services or scope of works across the CREFM operation.

  • Manage and meet CREFM project budget targets.


Experience & Education required:

  • Experience of managing or engagement of a diverse team across countries and cultures.

  • Comprehensive working knowledge of the contracts management in relation to the provision of services to the site facilities, including the related service level agreements and key performance indicators.

  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and how they can best be implemented.

  • Computer literate.

  • Experience of managing 3rd party suppliers, including contract management and the operation of SLAs and KPIs.

  • Experience of managing and setting budgets.

  • Excellent communication skills, with both internal customers and external suppliers.

  • Excellent leadership skills with an ability to manage a team and stakeholders.

  • Able to plan and organize work to meet deadlines whilst maintaining some flexibility to manage changing demands.

  • Syngenta business language is English, therefore fluency is required and any additional other languages   are beneficial.

  • Educated to a degree level standard or equivalent.

  • A recognized project management or technical qualification would be desirable.

  • Leadership experience and proven track records.

  • Experience of working in a Site Services Function.
