About this Job: You will join our
Field Force EU North department and be part of a team of 7; reporting to the Head of Field Force Nordic.
As Sales & Field Technician you will actively contribute in developing the Nordic strategy and successfully implement agreed strategies on KAM, Grower and Influencer level to create necessary push and pull activities. You will be working closely with customers in order to build and manage customer relationships. Furthermore you will have an analytical and progressive approach to market strategy and actively gather and share relevant information.

Accountabilities
  • Understand and actively pursue local market opportunities based on the Nordic Sales strategy
  • Leverage deep understanding of leading growers’ Key Buying Factors/success factors to efficiently sell on the value of Syngenta products/solutions and offers to gain market share
  • Continuously keep on top of latest Syngenta product developments and have the ability to successfully implement profitable offers in the market
  • Work with customer marketing, KAM and Field Force colleagues to develop solid pull activities around loyalty programs, farmer influencing programs, web support etc.
  • Actively participate and contribute to campaign planning meetings
  • Actively gather and share information across the Nordic Sales force on business intelligence and competitor information
  • Support definition, implementation and maintenance of commercial processes and the CRM system
  • Develop effective sales communication tools in addition to customer marketing materials to educate specific stakeholders on new solutions (including article writing for industry specific magazines)
  • Organize and locally manage field trial demonstration sites and liaise with growers in support of the local sales team
  • Use trials commercially to build deep understanding with all stakeholders of Syngenta product offers and help Product Managers to sharpen their positioning maximizing the impact of product launches and the overall commercial assortment sales and market share
  • Actively build and manage customer relationships including after sales and being first point of contact for complaint handling
  • Best practice sharing with Nordics sales force colleagues
  • Deliver the business in accordance with local legislation
  • Administrative and reporting tasks

  • Agronomic Crop Expert with deep understanding of local market that holds critical internal and external crop expertise across a range of agronomic and market conditions

  • Highly adaptable and independent
Educations/Qualifications
  • Degree in Agronomics or other relevant educational background
  • 3 years of experience as a Sales Representative, Product Evaluator or Product Manager in the agribusiness sector
  • Solid crop management knowledge
  • Computer skills - Microsoft Office and CRM package knowledge is an advantageous
