We are seeking an agronomic professional preferably based in Northern NSW who has technical and commercial experience across a broad range of crop protection products within the key winter and summer broadacre crops grown in the area. Experience in fields such as entomology, plant pathology, weed science or other horticultural or broadacre crops will also be well regarded.
The successful applicant will be required to create value by providing innovative training, knowledge extension and technical support for Syngenta and our customers. They will provide a cohesive link between marketing, sales and R&D functions for efficient technical knowledge transfer within the company and to our customers.
We are very keen to hear from you if you have degree qualifications in agriculture or science with a minimum of 5 years experience as an agronomist or related extension role. Experience in field based research, product development, sales or marketing would also be well regarded. Equally important are excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously from a home based office while still being an active and constructive member of a strong, focused team.
